Mr. Gracious, a Health Information Management professional with 17 years of experience in Industry, having served Health Information management in Kerala, Oman and UAE. He holds Master's Degree in Medical Documentation (Faculty of Medicine) and an MBA in Hospital Administration. He is also a Certified Medical Coder from American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and a former Member of Global Health Work Force Council (GHWC) by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Mr. Gracious throughout his career has been instrumental in designing and implementing health information systems in various hospitals and headed many times the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) surveys as HIM lead for the chapter Management of Information. Mr. Gracious is also a EMR Appliation Specilist and offered major contributions for the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Health Information Management Systems in UAE and Oman.

An alum of School of Medical Education, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam where he obtained his Master?s degree in Medical Documentation. He has also earned his Master Degree in Health Information Management from College of St. Scholastica, Minnesota, United States. Mr. Mujeeb is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) through American Health Information Management Association and Certified Professional in Health care Quality (CPHQ) through National Association of Health care Quality.
He has recently completed AHIMA Academy?s training on ICD 10 CM/PCS in Baltimore and awaiting his new title, AHIMA approved ICD 10 CM/PCS trainer. Mujeeb has been into Health Information Management (HIM) field for the last 18 years, served a number of HIM leadership positions with track record of implementing Health Information Management systems in primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare settings in India, UAE and Qatar.
He is currently working as corporate Head of Medical Records in Primary Healthcare Corporation, Qatar where he plays a pivotal role in HIM transition and implementation of paperless medical records system in 23 health centers across the state since 2013. Mr. Mujeeb is tech savvy HIM professional who works closely with senior leadership and enjoys collaborating clinicians and information system professionals in developing and implementing sustainable systems that address EHR design, training requirements and conceives effective Health Information Management Processes in place.
Dr. Sabu K M
Ph. D in HIM, M. App. Sc.
Associate Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences and Professor in Health Information Management at Manipal University, India. He also served as the member (Southeast Asia region) for the Global Health Workforce Council based in Chicago, USA formed by American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) with the support of the US Government. He also functions as the Chair of the Working group ?Development of International Workforce for Health Information Management? task force constituted by the International Federation of Health Information Management Associations (IFHIMA). His persuasion and engagement with the National Initiative of Allied Health Sciences (NIAHS), a Government of India initiative has recently brought formal recognition for HIM education in India.
He served as an expert member in National Curricula design Task force for Health Information Management formed under NIAHS. Prof. Sabu has obtained Master of Applied Science degree in Medical Documentation with first rank in 1998 from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India and Doctorate degree in Health Information Management from Manipal University in 2006. He has more than 16 years of teaching and administrative experience and served in different academic and administrative positions in education sector. He is involved in many HIM professional activities in India and few other countries. He is one among the pioneers in establishing HIM education and training through regular and distant modes in India. He has been instrumental in introducing research concepts in HIM practice with the distinction of being the first Doctorate holder from HIM discipline in India.
He has served as an expert member in academic committees of various institutions in India. As a faculty he has guided more than 40 Post Graduate and Under Graduate project work/thesis. Prof.Sabu has several publications in National and International peer reviewed journals to his credit and has presented many papers in scientific meetings across the Globe. He has also received few awards for his academic and professional achievements. His counsel and contributions has enabled Botho University to successfully establish the first HIM program in Botswana, Africa. He is actively involved in streamlining and enhancing the academics/training quality of regular Allied Health Science programs and establishing several short term training programs at SOAHS, Manipal University, India. He has vastly contributed to the overall development of the institution through establishing new programs and International collaborations.
